Please read this disclaimer carefully before using MindMonks or booking any service through this website.
Not a substitute for in-person care
MindMonks provides mental health consultations delivered remotely over Google Meet. The MindMonks team contacts you on WhatsApp and/or email to agree a time and send your Google Meet link. Video is the default mode; audio-only is available if you prefer. Remote consultations have inherent limitations when compared with in-person clinical assessment. They cannot replicate a physical examination, cannot assess all non-verbal cues, and are not appropriate in all clinical situations.
The services offered through MindMonks are intended to complement, not replace, comprehensive in-person psychiatric or psychological care where such care is indicated. If your clinician determines that in-person assessment is required, they will tell you and, where possible, help you identify the appropriate service.
Not an emergency service
MindMonks is a planned appointment service. Nobody monitors this website or its communications continuously. It is not equipped to provide emergency psychiatric intervention, crisis response, or involuntary admission procedures.
If you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, do not use this website. Contact emergency services on 112, call the Tele-MANAS mental health helpline on 14416 (also reachable on 1800-891-4416, free, 24×7, available in 13 languages), or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Self Assessment Centre
The PHQ-9, GAD-7 and WHO-5 screening questionnaires available at mindmonks.in/self-assessment/ are validated screening tools used globally for self-awareness and educational purposes. They are not diagnostic instruments.
A result from any of these questionnaires:
- Is not a diagnosis of any mental health condition.
- Does not constitute a clinical assessment or a medical opinion from MindMonks or any of its practitioners.
- Cannot account for all factors that influence mental health, including physical health conditions, medications, sleep, substance use, recent life events, and others.
- Should not be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision.
If your results suggest you may benefit from professional support, we encourage you to speak with a qualified mental health professional. A MindMonks consultation is one option; your GP or another qualified practitioner are others.
Accuracy of information on this website
The clinical and educational content on this website — including condition descriptions, service descriptions, FAQ answers, and general mental health information — is written to be accurate and helpful. It is not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
Mental health is a rapidly evolving field. While we aim to keep our content current, we do not warrant that every piece of information on this website reflects the most recent clinical evidence at all times. If you have a specific clinical question, ask your clinician.

Limitation of clinical responsibility
A MindMonks consultation establishes a time-limited clinical interaction for the purpose of assessment, advice, and where appropriate, a treatment recommendation. It does not establish an ongoing duty of care between sessions. Between sessions, you remain responsible for your own wellbeing and for seeking appropriate help if your situation changes. MindMonks does not provide continuous clinical monitoring or supervision between scheduled appointments. If your needs change or become urgent between sessions, you may be advised to seek appropriate in-person or emergency care.
MindMonks practitioners exercise their professional judgement within their respective scopes of practice and in accordance with applicable professional standards. Clinical decisions rest with the treating clinician, not with the patient’s preferred outcome or with this website’s content.
Third-party services
Consultations are conducted over Google Meet, a third-party platform operated by Google LLC. Scheduling and coordination use WhatsApp and/or email. MindMonks is not responsible for the availability, security, or privacy practices of Google Meet, WhatsApp, or any other third-party platform. Payments are processed by Razorpay; MindMonks is not responsible for any issues arising from Razorpay’s systems.
Treatment outcomes
Every consultation at MindMonks is an opportunity for a thorough, professional assessment and personalised guidance based on your concerns and clinical needs.
Mental health treatment is individual, and the approach recommended may differ from person to person. While we cannot guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment response, or outcome, we are committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care and working with you towards meaningful improvement.
Progress may take time and can vary depending on the nature of the concerns, individual circumstances, and engagement with treatment. A single consultation is an important starting point, but meaningful change may require continued care.
